Dave
Pothos meets Dave While travelling through a town and they travel together for a while. Pothos would get them rooms by performing and dave would go adventuring and share his stories with pothos to perform. Pothos even tagged along for a super easy low stakes quest.
Pothos then rewrote the story with her as the hero and published it which made dave upset because she "embellished" a bit to make it more exciting. Dave is disappointed in her, he thinks she could be better than this.
Dave leaves without telling her in the middle of the night and they haven't spoken since.

Dave is a half-elf with dark skin from an unspecified origin. Although most likely from the elf country.
