Session 11: Halloween Special Report

General Summary

The party arrived in Groveside and headed into The Broad Bear to get a room for the night and find out if there is any juicy gossip about the keep. Alecto Ocreata found from the barkeep that Old Glenda and Little James might have some information.
Old Glenda was found at the back of the bar, a grisled woman listening into the town's celebrations. Drostre Bassast was wary of her potential hagdom but Sprig Silvertoung reassured him. She told them that, based on her youthful explorations, she thinks the ghost might be a blacksmith based on the clanging she heard from within, despite no one ever confirming that there's a forge anywhere within the keep. She then pointed the group towards a group of youths that had reportedly stayed over there for a night.
The night passed smoothly and in the morning they easily located the youths loitering outside the tavern. They told them how they didn't actually spend the night after all the wierd shit in there, especially the bones that stayed in place and disintegrated upon exit.
They then searched the market to find Little James selling foraged goods on his stall. He told them all about how he heard wolves one night when he was out too late and hid. He was unsure how many but did confirm it was wolves when Sprig Silvertoung performed an amateur impression.
Eventually, they headed out towards the keep. Investigating the surrounding area, they found evidence of what looked like wolves but larger. They seemed to be scattered around the western side of the keep.
The group began exploring the keep. Quickly passing through the entry chamber to the garden, finding a dais with demonic symbology in a constellation format. They explore the first few rooms on the ground floor, attempting the piece together the mysteries of the skeletons and discovering the portraits of the family ruling the estate when it was up and running. They stopped Thryan Rosserk from picking a cabinet in the ballroom. 
They find a room that seems locked and deceptively strong. Thryan Rosserk confirmed its magical nature and Sprig Silvertoung dispelled the enchantment. After some debate and investigation Drostre Bassast presented the idea that they could be dealing with a werewolf here.
They explore some more rooms and find a stained glass window displaying the Imprisoning of Baph'amal, some journals and some letters as well as two secret rooms. One appeared to be a servant's access corridor and the other an extra hidden study. The group worked together to decode a note, finding the name of another man involved in the history of this place, Aeneas. Thryan Rosserk uncovers an unsettling crown that Sprig Silvertoung promptly confiscated.
The group decided to set up in the garden to rest for the night.
