Sjarehín
Sjarehín is a large town in the eastern Kingdom of Marissía in southern Adynía. Its position along the Taþyrin River makes the town an important stepping stone for travelers on their between the Sjorgús Mountains to the north and the coastal city of Barandin to the south, the former bringing goods from the Sikíron Empire and the latter from the Kingdom of Faron across the sea to the east.
Throughout history, expeditions have been sent from Sjarehín into the vast woodland of Efergen across the river to find a shortcut to Goldensands, as such a route would bring even more riches to the town (and the kingdom in general). So far, none has proven successful.

Demographics
Most of the inhabitants are native Marissíans, though there's also a small community of Gartaraz-dwarves hailing from the Sjorgús Mountains to the north, most of which belong to Fóktevaz Jön, the Southern Fox Tribe.
Geography
The city is located on the eastern bank of Taþyrin River, roughly midway between Barandin to the south and Eiakal to the northwest, near the edge of Efergen, a vast woodland which has remained unexplored for millennia. Most of the inhabitants fear the woods and avoid crossing the river, safe for hunters and woodcutters, but even they don't venture further than the forest's edge.
