Personal history
Born in 1119 to Jarl Jessic I at the Greystone Keep. He spent his childhood frolicing around the keep, and when he was 14 his Alshlyn was born and he immediatley fell in love with the new child and became one of her caretakers.
Reign
In 1138 Jarl Jessic I died and at the age of 19 Rodgier took the throne as Jarl Rodgier I. The families of Norveil sought to take advantage of the young jarl and his reign was plagued by small rebellions. Most of them were incidental affairs that were stopped without bloodshed, but some skirmishes broke out. That was until civil war broke out in 1153, called the Frost Rivers War. The jarl spent the next two years at war until 1155 when he died of a spear wound during the First Battle of Northflow River, afterward his body was stolen and beheaded, the head sent back to Siv while the body was kept and desecrated by sewing a raven carcass to his neck. His reign lasted a total of 17 years.
