Sybilla Rea-un

Once the leader of the wood elven rangers of The Golden Forest, Sybilla is now one of the few leaders of her people, ever since they were forced to near extinction by the soldiers of The Martéan Empire and the royal family was lost. Sybilla is respect for her tactical leadership, although her political leadership is yet to be tested truly, as she was one that agreed to take refuge in The Ithryl Woods. In exchange, she, along with the remaining soldiers under her command, would aid in the protection of the Woods.

Prized Ranger from a Fallen Land

Sybilla was raised in The Golden Forest, born into a war against The Martéan Empire. At the time, her people were part of the Sahrian Union, causing her to be raised purely as a warrior, like many her age. Despite elves being long lived, Sybilla saw her people die constantly around her, leading to her becoming cold and calculating. Although this made her difficult to approach for some, as a ranger, it made her perfect as a commander, able to make the hard choices with relative ease. Along with her skill, she earned a reputation among both her people and The Martéan Empire's soldiers that she should not be trifled with. Sybilla's only defeat came when The Golden Forest was set ablaze, and that is when the elves knew their enemy would face them without mercy.

From the Golden Forest to the Ithryl Woods

Sybilla was fighting on the northern border of her home when the capital was put to the torch. The Martéan Empire were unable to get past the woods through military might, so they were forced to use less noble means, earning The Golden Forest's new name, The Scorched Forest. She was able to move to the other settlements with her soldiers to save the civilians not in the Wood's capital, but this meant that all political leadership was lost that day, essentially making Sybilla the only person they could look to.
At first, they stayed outside the walls of Pruva, being offered aid by the goliaths that called the city they called their home, but found that the place was unfit for her people, distinctly lacking the druidic magic they thrived on. Because of this, Sybilla led her people onward, seeking shelter in Alderhardt, only to be turned away, given the slums of Valenrouse and nothing more. Refusing to accept this, Sybilla then led her people to Saol's Grove, where Tharaz Tonack, the Grove's leader, was known as a friend of the elves. He agreed to shelter them, but recommended that they look for a proper home from the high elves that resided in The Ithryl Woods.
Sybilla expected little from the high elves, given their infamously, pompous attitude; however, she found that their Queen, Elessia Vess, was more than accommodating, even going so far as to offer a full blown alliance. Sybilla would have been a fool not to accept, and it was known that she was no fool. The wood elves have been living in the Ithryl Woods ever since, with Sybilla being credited as the reason for their salvation, although she often states that she deserves little credit.
