The Mirrorpool
Geography
The Mirrorpool is a large lake situated in the south-east of the forest. Approximately 12 miles across, it is a body of crystal-clear water no more than 4 feet deep with a base of large smoothed rocks.
On its south-western edge is an ancient elven structure, a green-tiled, white-timber-frame gazebo situated on a small island just off the shoreline, accessible by a handful of stepping stones. Despite its ages however, it has been kept in pristine condition. The Gazebo is the adopted home of Meara, the unicorn who lives in the forest.
Localized Phenomena
Healing Waters. As an action, a creature may drink the water. If they do, they gain the benefits of a short rest. A creature can only benefit from this once every 24 hours. If the water is removed from the river or lake, it loses this property.
Meara's Blessing. In addition, if a creature would instead drink from water blessed by the unicorn, they also gain the benefits of the greater restoration spell.
Additionally, thanks to the magic of the elemental plane of fire being present in the forest, the water maintains a comfortable temperature, similar to a warm bath.
