Redwater

A fishing and farming town on a river in the valley of the western Freydin mountains.   The Antiheroes came to Redwater to investigate a curse causing the town's crops to fail and livestock to perish. They met a boy named Eli, who was the son of the town's high priestess, a woman named Elise who had died just before the curse's onset. While escorting Eli around to the town's sacred sites for him to perform the necessary rites and awaken the power of his bloodline, the group dealt with agents from the Eyes of the World, who were also interested in accessing the secrets beneath town.   When they reached Melora's hidden shrine below the Riverbed Chapel, they found the ghost of Elise, who revealed to them some of what had gone wrong. Tadriel and Elise had been lovers against Melora's will; Eli turned out fine, but his older sister Dalia had become a walking source of corruption, and the reason for the curse on the town. Deeper within, they confronted Tadriel and Dalia, resulting in both of their deaths.   Toward the end of the battle, Harmony and Eli fell off the edge of the shrine into a strange land deep beneath Redwater. While there, Harmony met a group of helpful myconids, as well as a sinister unknown presence lurking in the deep, dark waters there.   Once the curse had been lifted, the Antiheroes left, but returned later in their mission to save the city of Ravenmoor from the vampire Al-Kin's invasion. The effects from the Shadowfell were being felt as far away as Redwater, where Dawn and her band had stationed themselves to ward off the undead. Sadly, they were unable to prevent the high priest Phineas's death, though this incident spurred Dawn and the Antiheroes to make haste to Ravenmoor to put a stop to Al-Kin's plans.   After Orochi's defeat in the Elderhaven Reaches, Harmony retired to Redwater to live with Eli, until her mother Valiance's arrival forced her back into action.
