Elfin Village Area

The Elfin Village Area is where elves come to work, shop or do business. Elves pass through here on a daily basis. However, some work in this area and others come here for business. The main road, often called Santa Claus Lane, is what HWY 124 comes to be in town.   In this area, there are several businesses. Christmas Town Poinsettia Palace is one example. It is the only place to buy plants (for Christmas or otherwise). And there are civil buildings here. Christmastide Kingdom Public Library, Institute for Merriness Studies, Joy to the World Hall, The Christmas Beings Fun and Games Center are all civil buildings. Another business here is the Holly Eggnog Tavern and Restaurant.   Other buildings include Belief in All Things Christmas Spirit and Magic Museum of History and Artifacts, The Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo State and University Library of Ancient Power and The Hearts of Christmas Historical and Preservation Society.   Grand Elf Eleanor Ivy Eve's Office is also located here. Head of North Pole Valley Christmas Beings, her and her assistants are there to help. Except all are good. This office is mostly quiet. Not much for them to do. In fact, they often help with mail. A few sacks arrive daily so they can ensure all toys are made.   If the Clauses have a office, their office is overpacked with elves! Each side probably has one calendar elf, three assistants, sub-assistants, and a desk for Santa and Mrs. Claus. They may have elves who help deal with departments that ask the office for help or even regular oversight of departments.   The only building, a bit odd perhaps considering, is the hospital and clinic. It is both a veterinary and a elfin facility dealing with all life up north. For elfin life, it is important as the Christmas Cold/Bah Humbug Virus (a fast-spreading flu capable of halting all activity in the valley) is dangerous to residents if they catch it.

Hotels in Elfin Village Area

In this area, four hotels sit near to The Belief in All Things Christmas Spirit and Magic Museum of History and Artifacts. King Arthur's Ancient Power University is also close to them as well. All four hotels allow students to stay in them and also allow them to study in their conference rooms unless they’re in use. These hotels were packed for Baxter and Angela’s wedding. Christmas Valley Hotel is a 100-room, four-story hotel. It is named after the valley where it is. This hotel is over-the-top AKA generally-too- obsessive-in-everything-Christmas. All the Décor and just the atmosphere melts the outside world away! And yet, this hotel is just as popular as the others. Maybe because this valley just charges people’s Christmas Spirit… Maybe because this hotel changes them… Whichever it is, this hotel is considered infamous for awakening hearts and minds. This awakening may be responsible for the increase in people in the fall as students move into dorms on the campus of King Arthur's Ancient Power University. Night of Profound Love Hotel is same size of Christmas Valley Hotel but based on the night Jesus as born. It has the only permanent life-sized full manger scene anywhere in the world. While students don’t normally use this hotel, the student body is known to stay here during Finals Week. They often refer to it as “their relaxing space and de-stressing enjoyment”. Night of Profound Love Hotel is also often used by students over the Winter and Summer Breaks. If students prefer and some do, they help Mrs. Claus and the elves in the kitchen or bakery. Others help whereevr help is needed. Lodge of Light and Life is the closest hotel to King Arthur's Ancient Power University. Known over the Pole as Light and Life I, II, and III, these three buildings offer student-only housing over the break unless a huge event of Ancient Power occurs. Some students even use this as a dorm during the year as the dorms are not always empty. Christmas Spirit Bed and Breakfast is also close. This is a small hotel of fourteen rooms that’s known for its’ calmness and serenity. Except after finals. It is filled with much joy and much love when the students party to celebrate a break and Christmas.

Twelve Days Park

Twelve Days Park is an older, emcompassing name for two parks within the Elfin Village Area. It is the biggest park within Santa’s Realm. The park is split between two smaller parks. One is Caroling Jingle Bells Park. The other is Claus and Christmas Park.

Caroling Bells Park

Caroling Jingle Park celebrates the true Spirit of Christmas! It is a park of gathering together in Love and in Hope. Within this magical place, there is much for visitors to enjoy! You want the sounds and smells and tastes of Christmas? We’ve got that! What about sights? Absolutely! Because people need reminders all year long, a few decorations are displayed permanently (more or less) along the trail. The trail becomes a Christmas Walking Trail in October, which runs through the end of January. Vendors and carolers are often seen in an open plot of land during the opening time of Christmas Walking Trail. Christmas Walking Trail is a holiday tradition in Santa’s Village from the first year of Center of Christmas Spirit and Magic City’s birth building even more Christmas Spirit! The miles of trail fill this winter wonderland with festive decorations, holiday music, and delicious treats. Trees on the trail are illuminated by lanterns and decorated with Christmas décor. The trail itself also has lanterns. The benches and the big gazebo each has greenery decorations and lanterns as they lie in an open field. The colorful display of holiday-themed banners and signs that line the pathways help to add holiday cheer. Visitors create unforgettable memories and Christmas Spirit through their experience on their visit here. Christmas trees and holiday lights illuminate the park, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The festive decorations on benches, lamp posts, and other park elements. Vendors here include elves creating general and personalized art for visitors or Kitchen Elves making hot chocolate and cookies and bread. During the year, elves and university students participate in outdoor activities in the park. The main ones are yoga and snowball fights. Some people even run on the trail. These are sometimes held during the day during Christmas Walking Trail.
For hundreds of centuries, I have taken part in this time-honored holiday tradition in Santa’s Village where we walk miles and miles through the the trail where we are reminded why we do what we do. We enjoy the festive decorations, holiday music, and delicious treats.   Every December, my family and I come bringing our hearts opened to the message of Love and Hope. There is an open field where we spend hours. And in this field, food and drink vendors warm our mortal bodies while the carolers (which everyone turns into) sing songs to fill our souls.   My family will go through the trail over multiples times. The lanterns and our lanterns are the only things illuminating the trail, besides the lit trees. But not all trees are not lit so these are sometimes better in the light.   Other things everywhere are holiday-themed banners and signs. These medium and big things add holiday cheer on the pathways. But they also appear in the field.   What I'm trying to say is that memories are something not to take lightly. Family (in whatever way you see it) means something. I see family as people who care for each other and the memories you make hold a place in your very soul. - Wise Old Elf with grandchildren

I've gone in December to the Walking Trail lots of times. I enjoy the walking and talking. Hell, I love it! Wonderful feeling! And I honestly am reminded of why we serve the children, of humans in general.   All of my friends enjoy the field where the elfin choir sings Christmas songs and old Elfin Wintertide carols of Hope and Renewal. The food and drinks? Delicious! And don't forget we also have lots of arts and crafts elves selling their creations. Some of those things can be personalized.   However, many of us also enjoy other outdoor activities in the park. Mostly snowball fights. But some do enjoy just the park where we can chill and breathe. - Young elf talking about the park and the trail
