Dolon

Dolon is the capital city of Ebrion. It serves as a central hub to the kingdom. Its wealth comes to it through it commerce (via the Docks) and the Silver trade. Dolonian silver, whilst not of the highest quality, is from one of the only non-Dwarf run mines in Ara and is thus more affordable. It also contains traces that can be processed into the more valuable Arriant Silver.
The River Arriant runs through Dolon, whereupon it splits into 3 – the Orllewyn to the west, the main body of the Arriant to the North and the Ooze Canal to the east.
Dolon was historically divided into 9 Wards: Bridge, Casselhithe, Greyfields, Markborough, Mysticalia, Oldocks and Southgate. As the town has expanded, it has absorbed the former areas of Eastbury and Vilmarsh. In the last 50 years, with the movement of the Docks, a new region has grown up, Soaktown. Now, including the sub-region of Little Mitzu, Soaktown is now larger than most of the original wards. It is for this reason that the City Council have refused to recognise it as an official ward, for fear it may quickly become too influential. There is also the Kiln region, where most Dolonian ore processing occurs, but it is nearly entirely industrial.

The Palace of Gampaster

Just outside the city lies the Palace of Gampaster. Once a royal palace, this is now the home of the Parliament of Ebrion.

Demographics

Large human population, followed by similar numbers of halflings, dwarves and gnomes. Dragonborn are largely concentrated in Little Mitzu or Mysticalia.
