Ruin of Kroq-Gar
Kroq-Gar was once one of the largest cities under the control of the Saurians before the War of Arcanum. It was a bustling and robust city, known for its powerful magic connected to the Astral Sea. It was here that the starmancers first took hold, and it was also here that their power became undone when they were attacked by forces led by St. Martine the Blade of the Moon. She led her holy knights along side the ruthless warriors dedicated to Lolth, The Spider Queen, and they took the city by surprise.
The Saurians fought bravely, and fighting in the streets took place for almost two years. The Saruians beat back the initial invasion, and were saved by supporting forces from the Tritons. Once the Tritons were pulled towards the Wreck of the Wavecrasher, the Blade of the Moon once again attacked the citadel of the Starmancers. Many were killed in the following slaughter by the servants of the divine, as this time they were joined by not only Lolth, The Spider Queen but also fighting slaves of Torog, The Banished Queen.
What remains of the city is haunted by the brutality that took place here. The city bleeds into other realms of reality, mostly those of the Shadowfell and the Astral Sea, especially under the influence of Denhar, the Night Serpent. Various lost tomes here are sought by mercenaries and treasure hunters from all over Varda, though they should be wary, as nightmares haunt these ruins.
