Cassandra Von Drak
Cassandra and her brother Callahan grew up as orphans in the Oreion Inquisition . Weary and starving, they were eventually found by Count Von Drak of Kingdom of Velant. In order to save the siblings, Von Drak turned the two into vampires, as he was one himself.
Von Drak took the siblings to live with him in Drugal Castle and raised them as if they were his own children. While Cassandra had no trouble embracing her new vampiric nature, her brother Callahan had a distaste for his new form, devoting himself to studies in an effort to find a cure for vampirism.
Wanting to aid The Rovers during The Green War, Cassandra was unfortunately killed in the conflict, leaving her brother to assume the title of Count in Drugal Castle alone.
As part of Alex / Arcturus's Alphacian resurrection project, Cassandra was revived, and began to see herself as the monster that Callahan had regarded vampires as. To compensate for this, she began to use her beguiling nature and ability to dominate as a means of garnering affection, fake or otherwise.
Coming into conflict with the The Sanctioned, Cassandra was defeated by the adventurers, though she was spared thanks to the efforts of Kath Ivoire. From that point, Cassandra chose to be an ally of the Sanctioned in their fight against Janus.
Eventually being reunited with her brother Callahan, the two began rebuilding their sibling bond. Cassandra also expressed romantic interest in Kath, with the latter eventually reciprocating fully.
Cassandra currently lives and travels with Kath, having gained a new perspective on life and the meaning of true acceptance for others.
