Malachai Angel Salvador

Joining the Companions after the loss of one of their members, many of the Companions were slow to trust the enigmatic Tiefling known as Angel. When Angel was a young child, there was an attack on his home in The Red Eye by some of the orcs of clan Vulcan Wrath. One of the Orcs took interest in him, and cackled in mad glee as he burned Angels eyes out of their sockets. With the help of a Prometh named Artanis, Dr. Corvo Callous used his medical knowledge to save Angel's life after the horrific incident. After his recovery, Angel went from town to town, and found he was not so welcome. People panicked at seeing a disfigured Tiefling dirtying their home or shop. He found he had to disguise himself to go in and buy supplies, but he usually had to set up camp outside the town. He also began to become quite skilled at tinkering, eventually crafting an experimental firearm for himself that he named "Guardian". Meeting the Companions on their journey to The Silver Isles, Angel eventually earned their trust and became a full fledged member. He went on to earn the trust of the Crescent Empire, being appointed the Empire's spy master by Emperor Lunin. Angel developed a romantic relationship with one of Imperia's foremost artists; a Tiefling named Art. When Nex - The Screaming Tyrant returned to the mortal realm in 1001 3A, Angel was one of the first to lead the defense against the Fallen Ancient. He became a champion of the Ancient Obita - The After-Guide, and created a new firearm imbued with her power. During the crisis, he also adopted a new name; Salvador. After Nex was banished, Angel was one of the two companions that decided to remain in Crescentia. Together with Art, Angel opened up a tea shop that doubled as a way for him to gather information for his role as spy master. Presently, he still works to protect the Empire and Arkos as a whole as the spymaster for the Crescentian crown.
