Immrinni Stream

The Immrinni Stream is a minor river in the Iron Range of the Kingdom of Endor. It is located to the southwest of Endor, the First Mountain. It is part of the large watershed of the Iron Range, flowing southeastwards from the foothills into the Dragon's Maw.   It is a freshwater source near to the city of Endor, and has been used in times of need when Endor's primary sources of water were unable to meet the demands of the city.

Description

The Iron Range mountains form a large watershed to the south and east of the peaks. Many small mountain streams and brooks are formed from the snow melt and rain shadow effects of the region, leading to a small tarn high in the Iron Range.   Leading off from this small tarn is a stream named Immrinni, which means "tumble down" in dwarvish. It takes this name for the many small waterfalls and ridges the water crosses in its descent through the mountain foothils.   Despite the amount of water that flows into the stream, the Immrinni remains a comparitively small river. This is partially due to the amount of water that is lost to the Horukzul Caverns.   The erosion from the flow of water into the ground carved these caverns and floods the many water pools found within. The Immrinni forms a waterfall gully, and the falls obscure an entrance cave.   The Immrinni remains a minor river flowing southeastward. It eventually empties into the Dragon's Maw.

History

The Third Age: The Age of Zenethia
The Immrinni was previously a minor tributary of the Ruvalk River. This changed with the formation of the Dragon's Maw during the events of the Great War.
The Fifth Age: The Age of Beginnings
On 20 Sedaena 5A 178, Krummer and The Copper Dozen set a baited trap outside the waterfall gulley entrance to the Horukzul Caverns. The battle with a pair of adult kruthiks was interrupted by Luyos, which allowed the kruthiks to retreat to the warrens.   On 23 Sedaena 5A 178, Luyos and a group of kruthiks led by Daelee arrived at the tarn at the source of the Immrinni. They unexpectedly came across The Copper Dozen, and a large battle broke out, resulting in the kruthiks fleeing and Luyos siding with Krummer.
