Undead
Undead are once-living creatures brought to a state of undeath, either through the practice of necromantic magic or some other unholy curse. Undead include walking corpses, such as vampires and zombies, as well as bodiless spirits, such as ghosts and specters.
In 4A 995, the Zenethian Children encountered a Will-o'-Wisp in the underground caverns near Izmit in Burland, the Kingdom of the North. In 4A 995, the Zenethian Children met Leo, Captain of the Black Barrow, in Konenbur. As a Cleric of Nerull, The Scythe-Bearer, Leo's vessel was crewed by many animated skeletons. Near the end of 4A 995, the Zenethian Heroes entered the Mausoleum of Dwarf Lords. Inside, they fought several types of undead creatures in the tombs. 4A 996
In early 4A 996, Leo recovered the remains of Tillius in the den of a Purple Worm north of Tempe. Nerull transformed these remains into an undead golem construct, which followed Leo from then on. In late 4A 996, while the Zenethian Heroes rested in the ruins of Gardenbur in Parthenia, they battled an echo of Ruin's disembodied anger, which remained and would not die after the death of Ruin.
In the evening of 7 Adroth 5A 352, the Lightbringers fought against a number of ghosts haunting the Roadside Cairn along the Orc Highway.
