Earthborn

Children infused with the elemental power from deep in the roots of the world are called the earthborn. Similar to flameborn, when they become agitated they can cause tremors through the ground which trigger landslides and earthquakes. This has led to names like shakers, quakers, as well as simpler pejoratives like rock heads and dirtborn or mudborn that one might anticipate from bullying children. Earthborn usually have tan or brown skin and hair, occasionally shifting into green hues, and their eyes can be a crystal blue, green, or gold. Their skin tends to be a rougher, tougher texture which can further solidify into rocky or crystalline protrusions. These can be produced anywhere, but are most common around joints like shoulders and elbows or on top of the head in and around the hair. Earthborn who learn to harness their gifts can become prolific stone masons, architects, and builders, shaping and molding the earth according to their whims.
