Flameborn

Some children are touched by the elemental magic of the Primevals and imbued with the smallest fraction of their power. Of all of these, the flameborn probably have the roughest outlook in life. Called burners, fierys, scorchers and any number of other thematically similar nicknames, flameborn often struggle to contain their inner fire, and so can unintentionally harm those around them. Beyond the general half-elven features flameborn generally have red or orange hair and eyes that smolder and burn with their own internal light. Their skin similarly is shaded toward reds, oranges, yellows, and browns. When agitated or otherwise emotionally charged fire is known to erupt from their bodies, most commonly from their head and shoulders but it can come from anywhere. They are resistant to their own heat, which is good or most would not survive to adulthood. Some do learn to control and channel their inner fire, becoming especially potent pyromancers.
