A wizard explorer who has explored many ruins since graduating from university in Tajarat. His most famous accomplishments are as part of the Bertie's Boys team that discovered and reversed the cause of Gylanese's disappearance. Since then he has resided in the capital of Tafanse and researched the combination of magic and mechanics. This most recent fascination of his developed after an accident in some ruins that led to a permanent confusion spell and a reliance on a bracelet that lessens the effects.Mental characteristics
Personal history
Daeron was born to Jacob and Selena Flamewatcher, minor noble family who deal in minor artifacts and jewelry. Daeron had a quiet childhood, though was always caught running off to dangerous places out of curiosity, and he spent a lot of time in his father's library. He later gained entry into university thanks to a combination of recommendation from Tolveron, and his keen, if a bit strange, mind. He met Tolveron Pian after sneaking into a university library to satisfy his curiosity. Tolveron took an interest in him and they spent many days together with field work, experimentation, and study.
During his time at university, he met Seleas Zeno, when they almost got kicked out due to an academic dispute. The dispute was about the use of magic and why scholars explore ancient sites. This eventually evolved into a bitter rivalry. Seleas later became a tomb raider to gain profit rather than knowledge and stole several times from Daeron. It later turned out, during the expedition to the newly discovered Gylanese ruins, that Seleas was raiding to gain much needed money for his sick younger sister.
Daeron has mostly explored ruins in his homeland and in the surrounding area. Some explorations into Eveavion and Phamos, but has been hindered due to the unstable peace. He has spent many weeks trying to find something in the Gylanese desert, with little luck and to the university' dismay. His greatest discovery was a grand underground complex that somehow seemed to survive the destruction of Gylanese . This really sparked his interest in the area. However, when he returned with a bigger crew it seemed to have disappeared without a trace in the dunes.
