Elementals are beings born of elementals. They are usually from the elemental planes, and do not belong in our world, but abide here, as travel to and from the elemental planes is next to impossible. They are not all that common, but also any well traveled person is likely to of met an elemental in some form. In the distant past, there were horrifying elementals, akin to the powers of gods, but those have been banished, defeated or locked away. Just as with mortals Elementals can be good or evil.
Magmin
A small creature of pure Magma, which it uses to ignite and consume creatures and plants with fire. Like most elemental creatures it will explode in its element when it dies, burning those around it.
Mephits
Mephits are small elemental creatures, made up purely of their own elements. They can scratch and claw, and can spread their element around with a breath weapon. The most common type of Mephit is a Dust Mephit, and the next most common is a Ice Mephit.
Galeb Duhr
Boulder like creatures created with magic from the elemental Plane of Earth, either by one wielding that magic, or if a rocky landscape is exposed to those powers for an extended time. These creatures require no sustinace, do not age, and will not need to even move, silently observing their environment for centuries in some cases. When they are made by a magic user, they often have a eternal sense of loyalty, and will protect anything with their lives.
Gargoyle
Gargoyle's are living statues brought to life by malevolent elemental magic. These creatures to tend to hide amongst other statues, and tend to be grotesque versions of winged demons.
Salamander
Salamanders are snake like beings of Fire. Often kept as slaves by the Efreet.
True Elementals
Air, Earth, Fire and Water each contain their own beings of great power fromed from the truest expression of each Elemental.
