Moonpass Fortress

Moonpass Fortress, is a Costal Fort near the Eastern Klendev Mountain Range for the Whielor Island Kingdom. This fortress was built to keep the Bug Bears of the mountain range from traveling south, and allows the Pirate Kingdom to ensure security along the north side of the coast. Commanded by the Pirate Lord Furdennan, this fortress is kept in prime condition, and gives regular patrols along both the coast and the road to west leading towards The Queendom of Thena. The road continues south from here.

Travelers pay a toll to enter the lands beyond, normally this is in relation to the value they are bringing in. The Whielor Island Kingdom does not want to disuade trade, but use import fees to process much of the wealth. Travelers are also advised that there may be other points in the kingdom that do simular, that cities and ports have the same regulations that will charge new import fee's for there own districts. There is a small civilian district on the outside of the primary fortress. The road to the east rarely sees much traffic any more, so the civilian district is quiet lacking in ammenities.
