Viloy

The City of the Bay, situated on the south edge of Shallam Bay, extends its influence up along the Penisula of the the same name, Viloy Penisula. The cliffs on the far north side, can see the cliffs of the Habury Penisula to the north that mark off the bay. Viloy is a fishing city, and to ensure its dominance of the bay, even maintains a small coastal port town midway up the bay called Shabus.

Magic is absolutely banned within Viloy, though this was a development over the last 70 years. The Marshal of Viloy's Father was worried about magic corrupting the world, and believes that magic is not just destructive, but also corruption incarnate. This view is not shared by all, but those who buy into the public propaganda believe full heartily. The consequences for even speaking out against the force, can be dire, even being imprisoned, exiled, or in extreme cases executed.

Heavily populated by Dwarves, who after the refuge crisis, found safe harbor within this territory. The Dwarves make up much of the military, and loyalist citizens. The Marshals continued acceptance of the Dwarves has lead to this loyalty, even in the face of this growing tyranny, started by the current Marshals Grandfather.
