The Marshals of Oryn

The Oryn Empire has a feudal system much like Thena, though the Emperor does not have the same kind of power as the Queen of Thena. He rules over only the city of Dabraso, but the Marshals of Oryn Rule over each of their own territories. The soldiers there are raised in a culture of military tradition. The Marshals are basically individual warlords. Their loyalty to the King depends on his ability to ensure stability, and each of the content. If one Marshal were to slip in their allegiance, it likely take the form of aggression against one of the other Marshals, which would cascade into violence between all of the other Marshals. It is the Emperor's task to ensure that this does not occur, often making sacrifices that few others would make.

Each of the Marshals governs there territories very differently, some of them can be tyrannical, while other are more benevolent. As the Oryn Empire stretches across the most space on Aygess, there are many different Marshals. The strongest of the Marshals is in Zoni on the far side of the Southern Wastes. The coastal city is the third largest city, just behind Utarford and Thena.

A Marshal holds an army to themselves, but half of that force is Loyal to the Emperor, and the best warriors among each army is sent to defend Dabraso, and they bulk of those forces reside within Fort Riepu. The Dwarves from the Esternach Dwarven Kingdoms had spread across the different forces. Bringing Strong warriors, and excellent smiths. The strongest armies on Aygess are lead by the Marshals of Oryn.
