Often in towns regaling stores of your great deeds will earn you a round of drinks, meal or possible a warm bed for the night. Commoners who have been saved by you are likely to shield you from the law or others that may be searching for you, though they will not risk life and limb, expected that instead of you.
You previously had a simple profession among the peasantry, perhaps as a farmer, miner, servant, shepherd, woodcutter, or gravedigger. But something happened that set you on a different path and marked you greater things. Choose an defining event from your life.
