Kobolds

Kobolds are reptillian half sized humanoids, that can live well over a century, and the exact limits for them are unknown. They often choose to worship a dragon, or other stronger monster. Kobolds have such a need to be subservant, that they can sometimes even be found worshiping objects, often magical ones. They lay eggs, and can breed fast when they find a good environment. While they do have unnaturally long lives, they are small and often weak in there younger years, so few live longer then a decade or so. Internal conflicts often spark up, and while they will band together in mutual faith, will often turn on each other if given the opportunity.

Some Kobolds are winged, and are often ether shunned for their differences, or embraced as a sign from their object of worship, depending on fleeting feelings of these creatures. All Kobolds mature fairly quickly at first, but then continue to grow, and get stronger the longer they live. It is believed that some older Kobolds sprout wings later in life, though this theory has never been confirmed, and Kobolds do not often speak of their winged fellows.
