Summary:

The only Old One whom Pentharion did not not banish, for Troth was sympathetic to the cause, and believed choice would balance the universe then the tyrannical rule under his kind. It was this support that enabled Pentharion to rise above the other Deities, and oust the Old Ones. Little is known of the deal struck between the two, but it is clear that while it was granted by Troth, it can not be so easily removed. Troth has Ruled the Realms of the dead since the beginning, and his otherworldly palace sits on the very edge of the living multiverse and the eternal rest of death. Only Troth can pass between the two, and it is through his judgement that the souls of the dead are sorted. Retrieving a soul from beyond his palace is impossible without his blessing. While he believes strongly in the power of mortal choice, he feels that death is apart of the natural order of choice.
