The Awaking of Ao

Era beginning/end

In the beginning, was just Ao. The one before time, before space, before life. Eternal was their slumber before they awoke, for time did not exist until they awoken.

When Ao awoken, they experienced the nothingness of non existence, and with this experience thus begun time. Before this, Ao had dreams, thoughts and idea's. From these thoughts the Inner planes were formed. The Positive, The negative, the four elements of Water Earth Air and Fire. Planes of great power, from the original creation. Born fresh, each of these planes were endless, but separate. Each plane is interconnected by quasi elemental planes.
  These planes while they experience change, exist just on the edge of time itself, and so are both endless and finite, little more the pure expressions of energy.
