The plaza is dominated by a large fountain in the centre, which features a beautiful sunburst design and the tall Clocktower that sits on the northern edge of Sunburst Plaza.
- Blossom Park: Located just a short walk south from Sunburst Plaza, Blossom Park is a beautiful oasis of greenery and flowers in the heart of Ethiss. Taverns
- The Tipsy Grape: Located in the heart of the town's commercial district, The Tipsy Grape is a modest-sized, but bustling tavern. The exterior is adorned with a sign featuring a grape vine wrapped around a goblet. Inside, the tavern is cozy and inviting, with a fireplace and wooden beams overhead. The walls are decorated with wine barrels and paintings of vineyards. Gilly, the Halfling innkeeper, can often be found working behind the bar, chatting with patrons and recommending wines. The Tipsy Grape is a favourite among locals and visitors alike.
- The Iron Kettle: The Iron Kettle is located in the southern part of town, just within the walls and is partly build underground, under the curve of the hill. The tavern is a large, squat building made of stone and wood, with a thatched roof and a smokestack rising from the chimney. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a roaring fire in the hearth and the smells of hearty food wafting from the kitchen. The tavern also features a small brewery in the back, where patrons can sample ales and meads. Dwarven and Gnomish dishes and hearty ales are a specialty. The Iron Kettle is run by Hilda Stoutbrew, the no-nonsense dwarven innkeeper can often be found in the kitchen, overseeing the cooking of stews and roasts. The front door is guarded by Greta, a burly Half-Orc woman who works as the tavern's bouncer and general enforcer. She keeps the peace and makes sure rowdy patrons don't get out of hand.
Other Businesses
- The Celestial Emporium Curio Shop: Helia Suncaster, a wise and mysterious Tiefling, presides over The Celestial Emporium. Helia is a blue skinned Tieflign with long straight horns who inherited the shop from his father. He seems to have diverse interests and knowledge and a peculiar way of determining the price of his stock based on how he feels about the customer and their relationship to the object in question.
- The Enchanted Harp Music Store: The Enchanted Harp is managed by Lysandra Moonshade, a graceful and talented Half-Elf. Lysandra's musical expertise and enchanting presence and extensive knowledge of instruments and their care draw a faithful clientelle of amateur and professional musicians alike.
