The Johin
The Johin kingdom is made of a series of 7 islands, and is led by Queen Sasaki Mako.
The main islands that make up the Johin kingdom are:
Yashima - The Mairei Palace is found here
Waira
Akkoro
Suzaku
Seiru
Namazu
Mizuchi
The islands have a strange formation, and all the islands are arranged in a ring. Though the islands are comparatively small, the Johin kingdom has a very large influence on the Han Alliance, some might even say it’s unfair…
The Johin speak a dialect called Nasu (it sounds kind of like Japanese) alongside lub suab.
The Johin Queensguard are called The Ibara. Or in common, The Thorns.
Hedao - large village by the river, main trade is fish and bamboo.
Asahina
The Kamuy : The Johin don’t exactly have deities, they prefer to simply live alongside the spirits of nature like the Ile people do, but they do have a set list of kamuys that they tend to worship more often. The Johin have a belief that only monks and the royal family have a right to speak the Kamuy’s names. Their names can be written by the masses, but they cannot speak their names, so most people use their titles instead.
