Big Torren River

The Torren River flows east from Stogner Reservoir at the base of The Eternal Spires. This water collects and melts down from the glaciers up in the mountains before winding its way into The Great Bay, at the mouth, near the capital city of Emerald Bay.   There is a large waterfall and series of rapids about 2 miles west of the town of Benton, before the land descends from rocky foothills, into the basin of Aéredon.   The river is populated by people carrying goods down to the capital, most notably, the Redwood Ale, which is brewed in The Cascades.

Geography

The river runs from west to east, until just past Benton, where it forks before continuing to the Great Bay, and where the Small Torren runs off south

Ecosystem

The river runs along the southern edge of the Torren Woodlands. This is a dense woodland, with thick vegetation and underbrush.
