Willow Woods

At the confluence of the Green River and the Cascade, is a floodplain where huge willow trees grow. The curtain of the green and golden twigs completely covers the elves living there, even in winter the foliage of the trees does not thin.

Rainwater flow from the border mountains can cause flash floods at any time of the year when the tree trunks are submerged. Mainly waterfowl, songbirds, and reptiles live here, and they are hunted by the proud lynxes, the largest predators in the area.

The Aurr tribe lives in these woods, they are so used to living on the branches of willow trees that some people's feet do not touch the ground for years. Even in winter, they sleep on the top of the trees, in cocoons woven from the living twigs.
