These two immediately hit it off. Gimble had been feeling kind of lost after everything that happened with Melren and while he went back to taking care of the keep as usual once the windblown moved in most of them were actively going on missions or working on the prep for them. Barrin was the first support staff member they brought on that wasn't related to fighting and they really bonded over the years working to prepare food and move supplies throughout the peak.
History
Soon after Barrin arrived he was looking for a gym or sparring partner and found Tazbor who was always eager to train new recruits. Despite being wildly outclassed Barrin put up a great fight and when he eventually got knocked on his ass he got up again and Tazbor knew he had another teacher. The two spar regularly with Barrin appreciating the wide array of weapons he's learning to deal with. Tazbor in turn, uses Barrin to work through exercises on unpredictable fighting styles with other students. The pair get along great and work together most days
History
Carlyle fucking sucks down food and Barrin is delighted to have someone who enjoys his cooking so much. He and Gimblekanks have taken her under their metaphorical wings and begun teaching her how to make quick easy version of the recipies she loves the most. They are all in the draconic family and share a bond and food preferences because of it.
History
Barrin is loving it. He's viewing this as an extended vaction where he gets to develop his cooking abilities without having to do the hard work. He cooks, trains in the arena to keep himself and everyone else in shape, and generally helps with the work that needs doing around the keep. He's doing great and the windblown members are delighted to have someone in the building that knows what they're doing.
History
Gimblekanks was pretty abrasive to start but he had been through a lot and barrin was used to working with pretty rough people. After it became clear Barrin was unrelentingly wholesome and genuinely there to reduce the workload for gimble the relationship changed and they began to bond quickly. Now they're constantly gossiping and shooting the shit while they're working. Barrin will sometimes even help with the more physical aspects of Gimble's maintenance of the keep while continuing a conversation.
