Mental characteristics
180 years ago Tazbor was born in Mezro, the largest and most holy city on the chultan peninsula. He had a gift for combat and his skills eventually placed him as the personal body guard of Dhalmass Rayburton, one of the oldest of the immortal paladins that served as the council. He had been experimenting with varying magical biology and Tazbor, ever loyal, volunteered to be turned by a higher vampire they struck a pact with. He was freed from his grasp and along with Navia, the only other survivor of the experiments, dedicated themselves to serving the city once again.
After a time a new, very young Barae named Fipya was appointed. Dhalmass assigned Tazbor to her as a guard and advisor to help her acclimate to the role. When the Spellplague struck, the city was pulled into a demi plane and both Navia and Trazbor were ordered to stay in Faerun, as they both had a semblance of immortality not tied to Ubtao and work towards the destruction of Ras Nsi, the betrayer Barae. Only then would it be safe for the city to return.
So they began their work, both prolific warriors but between the instability of magic and the power of their enemy the pair were forced to retreat across The Shining Sea to Calimshan. There they found too much sun and quickly made their way north. They wandered the sword coast looking for allies and honing their skills for the better part of 100 years with varying degrees of success. Then the spell plague ended and once again things were thrown into chaos as magic returned.
This time the confusion sparked conflict. They were hunted by River and Xior of the Windblown after being misidentified as vampires feeding on a village near the Neverwinter Woods. After brief scuffle and even briefer negotiations the groups teamed up to take down the actual threat and were recruited to work with the windblown to gather allies for their own task. Navia became the in house artificer, crafting items to suit the needs of the members and enhancing vehicles and the weeping peak with spells and designs that haven't been seen outside the deep jungles of Chult in almost 200 years.
Tazbor had immediate success executing dangerous missions for the windblown but found enjoyment in taking up the position of the arena master for the Weeping Peak, training new recruits. He not so secretly thought they could be allies in the fight to reclaim Mezro and defeat Ras Nsi, but more than that it brought him back to a simpler time training the guards a lifetime ago.
Tazbor was educated in combat, tactics and history during his time training with the guard in Mezro. He has a practical knowledge of politics and the goings on of the world from his travels.
Steady employment with the windblown as the arena master.
- Being selected to act as a Barae's guardian
- Being chosen to stay behind and secure the future of his people
- Surviving the outside world
- Stopping Navia from tripping backwards into a pile of stakes over the last century
- Seeing the kids and all of his other students survive using his training.
- They couldn't stop Ras Nsi the first time around, and had to flee across the city
- He does not do well in the desert
- The most terrible gambler you've ever seen if it isn't on fights.
- Losing students and recruits to lack of preparedness
Tazbor's pretty tough but hes lost a lot of students over the years, many to carelessness and circumstance or old age, but he still takes it pretty rough. He tends to over compensate with the difficulty of his training because hes scared of losing more.
He's sharp but tends to get hyper focused on certain tasks. When training people or running drills he has trouble accepting less than perfection and isn't particularly charismatic so he has trouble getting across constructive criticism without sounding like a dick. He's friendly enough day to day but if he's in a mood he should be avoided like the plague.
Tazbor's an old soldier just trying to live up to the expectations placed upon him and Navia by their Barae and their people. Its a lot of pressure and not everything gets done cleanly but his intentions are good. He's ok with just about anything if it moves them closer to returning Mezro.

Is extremely skilled and pragmatic. With an excellent mind for strategy Tazbor can be trusted to make moves with everyones best interesets at heart.
He can be too head strong and focused on recruitment.
History
These two have a great relationship. Tazbor taught her tactics and languages while keeping her in fighting shape. She tended to lean more towards River's and Barrin's lessons in unarmed fighting but under the instruction in tactics from Tazbor. Tazbor would act as a confidant during her more rebelious youth and is remotely guiding her through the more dangerous areas of her Chultan explorations.

History
Venin and Tazbor have always had a good relationship. She's by far one of his most talented students and quickly took to his teachings and the windblowns missions. Their bond is more teacher-student than family but they have a deep respect for each other and work well together.

Training Partner (Important)
History
Soon after Barrin arrived he was looking for a gym or sparring partner and found Tazbor who was always eager to train new recruits. Despite being wildly outclassed Barrin put up a great fight and when he eventually got knocked on his ass he got up again and Tazbor knew he had another teacher. The two spar regularly with Barrin appreciating the wide array of weapons he's learning to deal with. Tazbor in turn, uses Barrin to work through exercises on unpredictable fighting styles with other students. The pair get along great and work together most days

Towards River in the Snow
History
While neither of them leave the peak very often for assignments anymore, back at the start Tazbor was the one charged with executing the larger vison for the company. Onboarding and training new recruits, managing guards and generally keeping things on track while the rest of the members went on assignments. After years of this River and Tazbor have an unspoken understanding on many things and she knows he can be trusted with handling whatever needs to happen.

Towards The Windblown - Relationship
History
Tazbor has had a hand in shaping the direction of this company since he met the founders. He trains most of the new recruits and the windblown is fine with him recruiting members for the mezro reclamation so long as everyone understands what is going on. He gains potential allies, and they gain highly skilled fighters in a short amount of time. Its a win win for sure
