The Southern Reaches

The Southern Reaches are a region in the Underdark. They often have lighter, sandy stone tunnels, and are the closest to the surface among the various regions. This proximity has led to more than average interactions with the surface, often hostile, but in some instances not. The city of RaKaTor has a trade agreement with the city of Marhold via the Dark Gate. Near to Ra'Ka'Tor is the city of Ralstaad, the largest settlement of Askani, underdark-adapted humans, in all of Felidra. To the east of both is the trade city of Evercross. Near The Sunken Sea to the north sits Jotarunn, the ancient home of the Stone Giants. To the southeast is Raka-Del-Phor, home to an odd mix of Ogres and the underdark-adapted golins known as Puka.
