Captain Dorthy Hewlett
Dorthy is the eldest daughter of Marielyn Hewlett and heir to her position as head of the family.
She is in a polyamorous marriage, having married first Darvin Hewlett in her late teens and then Minella Volmark-Hewlett in her early twenties. The three share command of the Merry Maiden, a Trade Galley gifted to her as wedding present by Minella's family. They have also shared the duties of raising Dorthy's four children.
Of Dorthy's children her eldest, Kevan, is wed to a minor Rothevalian noble and involved in the governance of the port of Legarra; Amelira, her heir, is charged with control of a small fleet of fishing boats and the Salziger Fische fishmonger's yard in Shearpoint; Josie was sent to The Spire as a child; and Tylan is the captain of the Lucky Tern, a cutter which runs trade routes around the South Eastern coast of Greland. Thanks to his contributions to The Royal Coalition vs House Darklyn and the expulsion of the bandit problem in Southbay's Old Caulstid region, Tylan was granted a Lordship over Caulstid in The Kingdom of Somercrag.
