The Hewlett Family
The Hewlett family is one of several merchant families active in the Hillhurst islands, roughly equivalent to the landed noble houses of Somercrag or Rotheval. Their primary base of operations is Selsa's Rest, but as with most of the other merchant families they have branches in a number of locations both in Hillhurst and along the coast of Greland.
The current matriarch of the Hewlett family is Marielyn Hewlett. Marielyn takes an active role in her family's lives and can usually be found visiting the home or business of one of her children or grandchildren to offer advice and maintain connections within the family.
The current head of the Hewlett family is Dorthy Hewlett. As her mother feared, Dorthy is a much more honest person than she was, and many of the family's more nefarious operations have been dismantled or denounced.
