Go-Ryu

Probably the second-most technologically advanced clan in The Land of Reeds, the Go-Ryu are a predominantly maritime culture, living off ships and boats and claiming the isles off the south of Qubresh as their home. They trade and steal from the Omi often, and are in turn often the target of Tojo raids whenever they stray too near the coast.
Historically, this clan is the one with the greatest knowledge of the Greland nations, trading sparsely with The Merchant Queens of Hillhurst for resources in return for petty trinkets. It is believed they are seeking the rights to establish their own port on the island, a true safe haven away from The Land of Reeds, and a base from which they can begin to influence and sway the Grelanders.
They are broadly recognised as the second best gunners and archers in the Land, a position they seek to improve one day – though it is anyone's guess as to how, since the Yomei live as far from the coasts as possible…
