Yomei

Matriarchal and isolationist, the Yomei are a scattered clan that could barely be said to dwell in The Land of Reeds at all. Their settlements can be found all along the passes that cross The Teeth into the valley beyond, known as The Maw to some. It is believed the majority of the clan actually dwells there, hunting and harvesting from the megafauna that makes the valley its home. They have a strong oral tradition.
They make extensive use of hide, bone, and bows, preferring weapons that can easily double as tools to aid in surviving the wilds. When great forests and plains home to colossal beasts are seen as preferable regions to live in, the common view of the Land of Reeds becomes clear.
