King Frederick IV Cimber
King Frederick IV Cimber
Crown Prince Frederick was born to Queen Margaret II Cimber and Prince Consort Durdain Cimber-Lovell. He married Alice Cimber-Stanley, and together they had three children, Princess Margaret III, Princett Nym and ser Roley, who entered The Order of the Flaming Bull.
Frederick took the throne of The Kingdom of Rotheval following the death of his mother in 427KS.
In 441KS he sent his child Princett Nym to The Kingdom of Somercrag to attend the coronation of King Tyon I Cray. As he had hoped the two took a liking to each other, and when King Tyon returned the visit to Switham, the two Kings negotiated terms for Tyon and Nym's courtship and eventual marriage.
In 447KS King Frederick lost both his wife Princess Consort Alice Cimber-Stanley and his sister Princess Imogen Bullen-Cimber to illnesses caused by the choking ash and dust released by the eruption of The Boxsart Hills. The following year his sister's widow Lord Malcolm Bullen was killed when the city of Gronpike was destroyed, an act attributed to The Kingdom of Irogonie. These deaths almost certainly influenced his decision to Declare War on Irogonie, however that war was averted by the unexpected intervention of King Tyon I Cray and members of his Royal Council who convinced Frederick to abdicate the throne to his eldest child Queen Margaret III Cimber and find other ways to process his grief.
King Frederick died in 451KS at the age of seventy.
