The crew of The Lucky Tern, as with most ships sailing out of Hillhurst, includes enough members of the crew capable of fighting to assemble a Military Unit. They are led by their Bosun, Mariyam.

The crew are armed with a variety of hand weapons - mostly handaxes for use in boarding actions, but some simple clubs and even boarding spears will often be present as well. Often a few members of the crew will carry a light crossbow or a shortbow. They do not wear armour due to the ever-present risk of falling into the sea.
