This is the starting year to the modern calender that labels all additional years as "Common Years" or CY for short. The Common Year was established as the system of reckoning by Grand Prince Nasran I of the Great Kingdom of Aerdy in 645 OR (1 CY), when he declared universal peace throughout his land and took the title of Overking. While the universal peace did not withstand, the new calendar was adopted by most of Greyhawk.

FoundingThis was the year that Odekran was officially founded, though not the first year it was inhabited. It had been started by a group of farmers and investors who had come together to make a renowned theatre known as The Theatre of Lights.

Hold of the Sea Princes is Established
FoundingThis is the year that the Hold of the Sea Princes was established by a loose coalition of pirates led by Hammandaturian. This establishment was not taken kindly by the Keoland Kingdom.

Battle of Hool Marsh
Military actionThis battle was the first major battle between the Hold of the Sea Princes and the Kingdom of Keoland. Here, the battle was fought in the Hool Marshes to the west of Guilrock Bay. The Sea Princes had a decisive victory where they killed King Tavish III and took his family sword Vilharian as a trophy.

Battle of Jetsom Island
Military actionThis was the end of the conflict between Keoland and the Hold of the Sea Princes. The Sea Princes, while not outright losing this battle, were bested and pushed back to their capital of Monmurg. It is said that Vilharian is still here on Jetsom Island to this day.

Kingdom of Iuz founded
FoundingThe Kingdom of Iuz was found with war and bloodshed. A warlord, Iuz, from the northern Howling Hills, gathered all exiled races from surrounding countries and marched into the local fiefdoms, dominating and killing any residents. These lands are now littered with ruins, bodies, monsters, and death. While there has been some chaos since Iuz's disappearance, the country itself has managed to keep itself relatively together.

This is a celebratory event to happen once a century. All of the planes of all the different realms align and festivities are had as glimpses into each plane can be seen in the stars above.

Sahuagin Raids Begin
Era beginning/endSome time roughly about 490 CY, it was reported that ships were coming back without sailors with some survivors claiming to have witnessed new aquatic sapiens known as Sahuagins. Their raids have not stopped since then but have mostly affected other aquatic life forms, more so than sailors and traders.

Political eventThis is the year where the Prince of the Hold was changed from the previous Hammandaturian to Jindrakonrie, a change that took most people by surprise as Jeon was next in line for Princeship.

Life, RelocationThis is the year where Kwalish, one of the greatest minds in Keoland, went missing from the Niole Dra Wizarding Academy. He has yet to been found.

Disaster / DestructionThis is the year that Captain Renshaw Vance destroyed Felendorei, the original home to Trinch the Player Character. In doing so, he stole some of the special seeds that were only found there.

Disaster / DestructionOdekran was a small village on the outer west shore of Ahlissa. It had no more than 3 generations of citizens before the village was ransacked by a group of Sahuagin. Few survived and others were taken as prisoners by the band of Sahuagin. The ruins of the village remain as a reminder of the dangers of the Sahugain.

Pirate attack in Saltmarsh
Criminal ActivityWhile this seems to be a small event, this may grow to have larger repercussions for the Viscounty of Salinmoor, if not for the whole of Keoland itself. This is the first time in many years that the Hold of the Sea Princes has directly attacked a Keoish city. Though it seemed to be directed at one city councilmember, the consequences may be more vast than what is initially perceived.
