Sìkk Yunri
The Sìkk Yunri is a longstanding Utoric kingdom in the north of Atux, having been formed from the initial Utor conquest of Atux. The Sìkk Yunri used to control more territory, having once owned many of the eastern territories of the Yungko Yunri as well as the Moyi Wekk and the Nìsso Yunri. Many of these territories were lost within the last century, having been either conquered or having broken away in revolution. For the past century, the Sìkk Yunri has been in decline, having lost populous and resource-rich territories. Many of these territories were home to important ports that housed various guildhalls and warehouses belonging to influential trade guilds. Since the loss of these ports, the Sìkk Yunri has severely deteriorated in its presence in the global trade of most goods and no longer receives patronage from many trade guilds due to their gradually worsening economy. While they are allies with the Kich Mepyukk, the Sìkk Yunri receives little to no aid from the larger empire and instead is forced to pay tithes in order to remain independent.
The Sìkk Yunri is ruled over by Vekagos Neres Patricio, an older Utor man whose father had been king during the revolutions and wars that saw the Sìkk Yunri fall so greatly. He is generally seen as a fine ruler, with much of the population believing that the poor standing of their kingdom is due to the revolutions and actions of the "northern heathens" and "western brutes" rather than due to issues within their own government. Very few understand the predatory alliance between their kingdom and the Kich Mepyukk, seeing the Kich Mepyukk as a savior and defender of the Sìkk Yunri's interests. Many believe that without the Kich Mepyukk's "aid", the Sìkk Yunri would have already collapsed entirely and would have quickly become a lawless, bandit-ridden hell. Most of the kingdom's subjects are Utor, with most of the non-Utor humans having lived in the now independent northern regions of the kingdom. The kingdom is fairly populated with settlements and people scattered across the kingdom's northern regions as well as around the Sea of Een.
