Region of Northern Vadania
The Region of Northern Vadania is a scarred land, to the long conflict that saw it conquered and it's people continued resistance against the league. At this point most native Savorians that have not fleed to marshes have been deported and the major cities are mainly inhabited by settlers from the Riverlands and the western northlands, who were promised new opportunities in the Savor. The people who live here are known to be on edge, for the cultural tension and the fear of those who carve out a living the swamps.
Northern Vadania is ruled by king Bairon of the Szukur family, who trace their roots back to the initial emancipation of the land. Siding with the Korvali they gained immense wealth and were eventually chosen as rulers for their cooperation and strong ties to the land, and gained legitimacy amongst the southern lords through marriage with karstelmar nobility with vague ties to the sacred bloodline.
The region devided into 3 baronies and the Szukur's own domain, and in truth beyond makin orders to intercept and destroy rebel grounps in the marsh, there is little cooperation between them, with each of the baronies being from somewhat competing families.
