Eredo-Benil-Manso Alliance
North-west of the Semudan, Ruby Empire of Redin exist 3 powerful semi-nomadic human-elf tribes. Thousands of years of history have blended unique but linked cultures that control a large part of the Jet Forest, a dry tropical forest previously controlled by the Semudan during the Emerald Gaoro period.
The Ruby Semudan pushed to bring the Benil lands back under their control with a series of invasions between 1465 to 1469. After initial success that saw Semudan claim major towns and strategic trade points in the first part of the invasion and gain control over the majority of the Benil lands, an alliance of the Eredo, Benil and Mansi tribes was declared that quickly bogged down the superior Semudan legions in a guerilla war of attrition. This alliance includes hominids and other intelligent beings united in their resistance to the Semudan.
For 3 years there was a rolling back and forth, as the Alliance controlled the wilderness areas, Semudan continued to expand and control the urban areas, while both fought over the borderlands. This all changed in 1472, when the Mummies of Carkade 1472.12 began pouring out of the Time Void and their ancient structures were brought back into existence.
By 1474 the majority of the Eredo-Benil-Manso Alliance populations were on the march, fleeing the Carkade. This brought massive populations of emigrants into direct conflict with the Semudan watch tower legions, while others fled into the safer territory of the Zodia or the dangerous interior.
In the years since the Carkade Empire arrived, the Eredo-Benil-Manso Alliance has persisted even though the majority of the populations no longer live in their traditional lands. Many have entered into vassalage of the Semudan and have been sent south to fight the civil enemies of the Empire.
The Alliance among a diperse population remains, while the homelands of the peoples are now in control of an ancient and implaccable foe that the Semudan and others are yet to fully engage.
