The Original is the first blade ever used in the Arena of Light. A weapon that's been adapted numerous times over the centuries with stronger and lighter materials and a more streamlined design. Its reliability has meant it remains the most popular choice for balters of all levels. Instead of excelling in one aspect, it offers a solid performance without any obvious weaknesses and never breaks.

Blade features:

• Original Blades made this century use the new Fein imported hardened marvela wood for increased durability and consistent shot power.
• The revolutionary damping backplate called the vibra-plate has been added to soften impacts when defending powerful shots.
• A grippy transparent layer has been installed for adding spin effects to the balt, but subtle enough to not adversely affect Fire Aurae shots.
• The blade comes in a one-handed or a two-handed version if you purchase the extended handle option.

Goster's personal opinion:

A consistent, dependable blade that won't surprise you with outstanding performance, but will nonetheless meet all users expectations. The First Blade also improves with age as the vibra-plate gets knocked into a less rigid shape. Just make sure you purchase a steel spring system and not one of the cheaper bronze variants that the less reputable baltsmiths sell.
