The Club
AKA The Bludgeoner
"I battered that Lancey ponce."A single-handed blade that packs a mighty punch. It's weight and lack of agility makes it applicable only for Water Aurae balters who aim to win through unstoppable attack power. After the founding of the All Race League and the introduction of the ferocious Riktus this blade has become the go-to weapon for some of the most destructive balters now competing.
Blade features:
- Due to its unwieldy weight only Water Aura users are strong enough to use this blade but despite its sledgehammer like weight it is a reasonably easy blade to use. Just tapping the balt causes a powerful shot.
- The Bludgeoner has a ripple effect painted onto the face to allow for slightly more control of the balt but this is secondary compared to its main focus of class-leading destructive power.
- Each side of the blade has 5 airflow grooves to allow for a more streamlined blade.
- Made with a cast-iron core that adds weight ballast and causes extreme reactions to any balts smashed by this blade. The iron core is also coated in Trilunium which dampens all vibrations making the Bludgeoner a virtually indestructible weapon.
- Like Windwalker The Club is a multi-functional blade equally comfortable inside and outside the arena. Its vicious head-crushing ability makes it as deadly as any of the sharpest swords.
- A thick, chunky handle means only a few are large enough to weld this blade.
Goster's opinion:
Is the Bludgeoner the blade for you? The answer's simple, if you're blessed with a Water Aurae or Sorce power then using this blade is your only logical choice. If, however, you have ordinary strength then avoid this blade for you're more likely to injure yourself than win any balter match. The Mini-Club
I have experimented with a new bludgeoner that follows the same dimensions as the standard model but replaces the iron ballast with lighter bespoke materials lowering the weight by 50%. This version is still heavier than the other blades but at a weight that doesn't require an Aura to weld. It's power metric is lower than the standard Club but still greater than the other blades. This version is recommended for extremely strong non-Aura blessed balters only. Without needing to use Trilunium the price of this amended 'mini' version is 20% lower than the regular model.
