The Diamond blade was introduced for those that liked the feel of The Paddle but didn't want to sacrifice shot power.
A popular double-handed blade for its long range and consistent performance across the board. Unfortunately, it has been known to break at inopportune moments as Lance Carine learnt to his fatal cost against the Brutaliser. For this reason alone, sales of the Shovel have never threatened the First Blade.

Blade features:

• Despite the Diamond's large size the state-of-the-art materials sourced from all over Lendor keep the weight down to a manageable level.
• 3 airflow slats for improved swing speed.
• Huge triangle shaped head offering wide hitting range and an above average sweet spot.
• Rippled face to allow greater control of the balt to impart various spin effects.
• Designed to also be held along the ergonomic shaft to attack with class-leading precision attacks.

Goster's opinion:

Not a blade for the beginner or casual balter. If you fail to hit the sweet spot you receive painful vibrations that weaken the blade considerably. However, for the skilled user the diamond is a fantastic choice offering precise shots albeit with a slight hit to agility.
Fire Aurae users might also prefer to use another blade for the rippled face can sometimes add unwanted effects to the balt that make shot accuracy difficult when combined with Fire Aurae powers.

Prototype model:

I have developed a work in progress model that incorporates 5 airflow slats and uses a softer wood sourced from Tsarkos forest. This blade swings faster with less vibration but at a cost to durability - perfect for the novice balter. If you are pro level, then the standard diamond blade is still the best choice.
