Prime Deities

For more information on all deities, see: Deities

The Prime Deities are the Creator Deities who chose to fight back against the Primordials during the Age of Creation, and defended mortals from the Betrayer Deities during the War of Repellence. Illid is also typically grouped with the Prime Deities, despite not being a Creator.

Avandra

CHAOTIC GOOD
The goddess of change, Avandra delights in freedom, trade, travel, adventure, and the frontier. Her temples are few in civilized lands, but her wayside shrines appear throughout the world. Halflings, merchants, and all types of adventurers are drawn to her worship, and many people raise a glass in her honor, viewing her as the goddess of luck.

Bahamut

LAWFUL GOOD
Bahamut is the dragon god of justice and a subservient deity to Erathis, goddess of law. He is the patron deity of good dragons, metallic dragons, wisdom, and enlightened justice (justice tempered with mercy and punishment with forgiveness). He is also the eternal rival of his sister Tiamat, Queen of the Chromatic Dragons.

Corellon

CHAOTIC GOOD
Corellon, whose titles include Creator of the Elves and the Protector, is the patron god of all elves and the sun. He is the creator and preserver of the tel'quendii, governing those things held in the highest esteem among elves, such as magic, music, arts, crafts, poetry, and warfare.

Erathis

LAWFUL NEUTRAL
Erathis is the unaligned goddess of civilization, inventions and law. Rulers, judges, pioneers, and devoted citizens worship her, and her temples are present in most major cities of the world.

Illid

NEUTRAL
Illid, also commonly known as the Grave Watcher, is the god of death, fate, and frost; he's also considered the god of twilight, inevitability and the passage of time, presiding over the transition between life and death.

Ioun

NEUTRAL
Ioun is the unaligned goddess of knowledge, prophecy, and skill, and is a patron of the study of magic and mental power. She is particularly revered by wizards, scholars and tacticians.

Kalista

LAWFUL EVIL
Kalista was the former goddess of death, now deceased, whose reign was cut short by Illid's ascension to godhood. Very little in the realm of documents or depictions exist in regards to what she was like or what impact she had upon the Material Plane.

Kord

CHAOTIC NEUTRAL
Kord is the god of storms and the Lord of Battle. He revels in strength, battlefield prowess, and thunder. Fighters and athletes revere him.

Melora

NEUTRAL
Melora, the Wild Mother, is the goddess of wilderness and the sea. She watches over nature, good harvest, grants protection from washing away in storms, and guides the passage of ships.

Moradin

LAWFUL GOOD
Moradin is the god of the dwarves and their chief deity. A harsh but fair judge, he is strength and force of will embodied. He inspires dwarven inventions and constantly seeks to improve their race, encouraging a good natured, intelligent, and harmonious existence with other good races while battling their pride and isolationist tendencies.

Sarenrae

NEUTRAL GOOD
Known to her faithful as the Dawnflower and the Healing Flame, Sarenrae is a goddess who teaches temperance and patience in all things. Compassion and peace are her greatest virtues, and if enemies of the faith can be redeemed, they should be.

Sehanine

CHAOTIC GOOD
Sehanine is an elven goddess of dreams, the moon, stars, and love, as well as the most powerful female member of the Seldarine; the entities of Arborea that elves commonly hold in worship.
