Humans

It is an ancient rumor that the original royal bloodline was destroyed and that that someone took the place of a king using magic making their own bloodline the new royal bloodline.
Humans in their creation were never intended. They are a result of magic from the Light god and magic from the Dark god mixing together. This gives humans equally capability for great good and great evil and everything in-between. The humans may appear weak from an outside look but they are a strong and hearty people. It was humans that brought the giants to extinction and it is humans that slay dragons. They are a strong race. They may live mortal lives but it is the guaranty of death that makes the humans strong. What they may be lacking in raw magic the more than make up for. They have won two wars. once against the Nathair and one against the elves. Humans are resourceful and inventive. When they first made contact with the dwarves they only had weapons of stick and stone but were now exposed to weapons of steel and iron, and they learned this to. They took magic and weaponized it immediately. The Nathair laid the ground work for this but humans ran with it. This was done by study of the Dark One. The Dark One was the first one to use magic as a weapon and they used it as a weapon against the humans. The humans now aware of what awaited them learned magic by study and truly weaponizing it.   The humans have built their home in the center of the continent. The Humans first learned magick from the Nathair and from their built upwards. They call their country The Vale. The humans started out as simple tribes in the woods but over time became more civilized and gained knowledge of magick. This has allowed them to build one great city, Xares. Biggest city and home of the royal family. The royal court consists of the ruling king or queen and a mix of eldermen and barons who have built their own settlements. Some of note are Rainholm, Built in the great plains, Greenhaven built on the edge of Tir Orail and The Vale and The Southern Isles built on several islands of the coast of The Vale.
