The Soft sands tavern
The Soft sands is a tavern within the bazaars of the Red Mesa, often the resting place of many travelling merchants, mercenaries and musicians.
The structure is a striking two story sandstone building with long yellow sails that shoot out over the path before it. The familiar wave of sand adorns these yellow sails and you can often hear the soft notes of crooning bards whisper along the breezes that circle around the establishment. Inside is a more laidback atmosphere as the weary travellers within the Mesa and the heat of the day creates a more subdued atmosphere. The air while thick with the days heat often carries the aromas of fine perfumes, floral scents and the scintillating smell of fine cuisine from the kitchen.
