Greenwood Yards
Toward the northern outskirts of Highstorm you’ll find the area known by the locals as Greenwood; it contains a collection of elaborate and lush greenhouses tended with great care and devotion.
Inside, you will find rare fruits and vegetables native to homeworlds long extinct and eradicated, lost to Oblivion. Through gifts given by Yima and the power of the Zenith, some Kenosians have managed to recreate and revitalize parts of their world — parts they hope to bring into the new world upon its rebirth. The groundskeepers are friendly, if soft-spoken; they will gladly permit any Zenites to cultivate new plant life in or outside Greenwood.
You will also find the Sunset Gardens beyond the rows of greenhouses — immaculate and reverently tended to, a wide and open space filled with flora and fauna from innumerable worlds. You are sure to see strange, foreign plant life intermingling with more common and familiar varieties; nature flows freely. The air is pure. You, too, feel pure for lingering here.
Should this put you in the mood for further relaxation, there are indoor bathhouses at the far end of the park. Cleanliness and respectfulness are paramount if you partake; please be mindful. The locals are watching. Should you be of drinking age, your visit will earn you a cup of tea as you soak in the clear, crystalline waters that ripple with moonlight from above; drinking the offering will temporarily increase your body’s natural healing abilities and rejuvenation, leaving you refreshed for the next 24 hours.
