Definitions
- Turn Order - The order in which Heros and NPCs take their turn in combat.
- Adventuring Day - The time spent between long rests
Crits and Crit Misses Expanded
- Should a Crit Hit happen in combat – Allow for a free additional strike, allow for a Heroic or Defensive point to be regained, and allow for an instant kill.
- Should a crit miss happen in combat – the strike/cast fails putting the hero in a precarious position to lose health, loss of Heroic or Defensive points.
- Should a crit hit happen as an action – automatically succeed, become aware the task is impossible to complete at your current state as a hero.
- Should a crit Miss as an action – Automatically Fail, fail forward where something bad happens to the hero(s) but keeps the narrative moving
